Governor Sanwo-Olu has sent his congratulatory message to Tems on her win at the 2025 Grammys.
The governor of Lagos state, joining millions of other Nigerians, on Monday 3rd February, 2025, took to his official social media handle to put up a photo of Tems with a message congratulating the Afrobeat singer for her historic achievement and for making the country proud.
“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Temilade Openiyi @temsbaby on winning the Best African Music Performance award at the 2025 Grammy Awards with her song “Love Me JeJe.”This historic achievement marks her as the first Nigerian artist to win in this category, showcasing her exceptional talent and dedication”.
Sanwo-Olu continued:
