Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi and wife Princess Ashley Folashade Adegoke have welcomed a son.
Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi taking to his official social media handle on Tuesday 3rd September 2024, shared the good news to millions of his followers and sons and daughters of Oduduwa.
The Oba shared a photo of his wife and himself from their traditional wedding in 2022, with a caption that reads:
“To God be the glory things he has done. Hearty congratulations to the entire Huse of Oduduwa and Olofri Folashade, who today birthed a Prince from the mother side of Ooni Adagba Royal Compound of Lafogido Ruling House compound of Giesi Ruling house combined to the Royal throne of Oduduwa.
Mother and child are doing well to the glory of God Almighty and in line with the spirits of our ancestors,” the Oba captioned the photo.
Ooni Of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi married Princess Ashley Folashade Adegoke in 2022, coming barely five days, the respected traditional Yoruba monarch married his third wife, Tobi Philips.
Princess Ashley Folashade Adegoke is reportedly an Ebira lady in Kogi State, her mother hails from Erin-Ile in Kwara and her family lives in Ilorin.
