Kaia Gerber had a mix of both business and pleasure when she stepped out to tackle part of her day on Thursday, Daily Mail reports.
The top model appeared to be making the rounds and taking care of some personal business, which included a stop to attend a production meeting, although the source of the pow-wow wasn’t exactly known.
By the time the catwalk queen Kaia Gerber left the location of that meeting in Los Angeles, she was spotted exiting the same building looking casual-cool in the fashion department alongside good friend and actress Ayo Edebiri, the report by Daily Mail added.
From there, the gal pals made a short drive to a local restaurant where they sat enjoyed some food, cold drinks, and a bit good conversation.
The pair’s outing came two days after Gerber seemingly made a cryptic dig at an ex when she was seen reading a book called ‘Dear D***head’. (She is currently dating Austin Butler – her former boyfriends include Pete Davidson and Jacob Elordi.)
For their time together Kaia Gerber, 22, wore old faded old blue jeans, with a loose fit, a dark blue short-sleeve shirt with a cropped design, and a pair of dark-colored ballet flats.
The covergirl also brought along a gray sweatshirt, just in case she’s in a cold, air conditioned place, that she either carried or tied-up around her nack.
Rounding out her overall look, Kaia Gerber kept the accessories to a minimum, and had her dark brown locks styled long and flowing down over her chest in the front and past the middle of her back with a center part.
Once they met up at the restaurant the rising star actress could be seen gathering her cell phone and placing in her back pocket for the short walk from her parked SUV to the entrance doors.
Edebiri, 28, opted for summer comfort in denim shorts with a black button-down over a white t-shirt and white sneakers.
The Boston, Massachusetts native had her raven locks styled in long, thick braids that hung down well past her shoulders in a ponytail.
Carrying a water bottle and phone, the acclaimed young actress also had a bag for her essentials that she had slung over her left shoulder.
The two ladies have gotten so close as friends that Gerber recently revealed they sealed their friendship for life by getting matching tattoos,’ according to another report from E! News
It was Edebiri who got the idea right after hosting Saturday Night Live in February, which Gerber was eager to follow suit and get the pieces done.
For now, the duo have decided to keep their ‘pretty fresh’ tattoos hidden from the public for the meantime.
Best known for her role as Sydney Adamu in the hit FX on Hulu series The Bear, starring Jeremy Allen White as the leading man, Edebiri has won a Golden Globe Award, Primetime Emmy Award, and Screen Actors Guild Award in her three seasons.
The psychological comedy-drama series has already been given the green light to move forward with a season four.
Edebiri’s Hollywood resume also includes a recurring role on the mockumentary sitcom Abbott Elementary (2023), the adult animated series Clone High (2023-2024, and the animated series Tales Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2024-present).
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday with that dig to an ex, Gerber shared a snap of herself basking on a sun lounger displaying her washboard abs a tiny black triangle bikini.
Kaia happened to be reading a novel entitled ‘Dear D***head’ – with the star captioning it: ‘A book for someone I used to know, while a second picture had a paragraph highlighted that read: ‘At this point, your sheer dumbf***ery commands a certain respect.
It continued, ‘But it doesn’t change the basics: I don’t give a sh** about you. All my love to your sister, she was a wonderful friend.’
Friends and co-stars of Kaia turned out to support her on the post, suggesting they knew who she was talking about.
In her short dating life, she has been linked romantically to model Wellington Grant, although they were never officially confirmed that they were dating, People reports, actor and comedian Pete Davidson, Priscilla actor Jacob Elordi, and Elvis star Austin Butler, who’s she been an item with since 2021.
On the career front, Gerber has been shifting some of her focus away from modeling and more to her burgeoning career as actress, who has no less than five different productions on the horizon.
Just last month her period comedy-drama series Palm Royale got picked up for a second season by Apple TV+, although a release date is still pending.
The daughter of legendary supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber has four films in some phase of post-production, including the horror flick Shell, the biographical comedy drama Saturday Night, the epic melodrama Mother Mary, and the black comedy Outcome.
