Ashley Tisdale says she’s ‘ready’ to give birth to her baby as she opened up about having been experiencing pregnancy sickness for three weeks already.
On Friday, the High School Musical star, Ashley Tisdale, took to Instagram to vent about her ‘exhaustion’ as she explained her adenovirus infection had turned into a sinus infection.
Ashley Tisdale said she ‘can’t wait to get that baby out’ as she is in her third trimester of pregnancy, but she mentioned that she still has more preparations to make before giving birth.
‘I’m exhausted. I’m ready to have this baby but not ready,’ she wrote over a photo of herself lying in bed and a tired expression on her face.
Then, addressing her baby, she wrote: ‘I still need to wallpaper the room, get everything organized, so don’t come yet!
Ashley Tisdale continued, ‘BUT I’ve been sick for three weeks with adenovirus that turned into a sinus infection.’
Adenovirus infections — which can range from mild to severe — most commonly affect one’s respiratory system, and symptoms can resemble those of the common cold or flu, according to the Cleveland Clinic.
‘My whole body hurts and I literally can’t wait to get that baby out,’ she added. ‘I think they make the last month this hard so you’re willing to throw yourself into something that would normally be so scary but you do it anyway.’
In the snap, she also appeared to be lying in bed and curled up in a cocoon of fluffy pillows.
Even though she was lying down to rest, her eyes were wide open in her selfie.
Ashley Tisdale had a pregnancy glow about her, but her cheeks also seemed to be flushed.
The actress is currently expecting her second child with her husband Christopher French, and they already share their first kid, three-year-old daughter Jupiter, together.
The soon-to-be mother-of-two announced her pregnancy earlier this year in March and is expected to give birth in the upcoming weeks.
Her latest update comes one week after she got candid about her third trimester of pregnancy.
Last Monday, Tisdale humorously and honestly captioned an Instagram post that showed her cradling her baby bump as she posed beside an orange tree.
‘Name something that isn’t an Olympic sport but should be: the third trimester,’ she captioned her photo series.
In the snapshots, Tisdale wore a cute white top with ruffled sleeves and low-slung jeans. Her bump was visible beneath the summery top.
The Disney Channel alum also shared a real moment in her Instagram Stories.
She shared a photo of herself with her hair pulled back and up and her hand on the side of her face.
‘You forget what the end of pregnancy feels like. Acid reflux, everything hurts, feet are starting to swell, and insomnia,’ she wrote.
‘I’m trying to remind myself I’m almost there, but I’m too tired to believe it,’ she added.
She shared the snaps shortly after celebrating the two-year anniversary of her wellness brand Being Frenshe with baby bump-baring snaps.
‘@beingfrenshe is officially 2!!! Thank you for another AMAZING year and for all the love and support you all have shown,’ she began in the Instagram caption.
She continued: ‘I started Being Frenshe because there was a gap in the market for accessible wellness products, and to see how many of you have incorporated our rituals into your daily lives is something that I never could have even dreamed of.
‘This community we’ve built is so special to me and the entire team,’ she explained, ‘We are so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you
