Lauren Goodger has slammed her ‘fake friends’ for not contacting her on the second anniversary of her daughter Lorena’s tragic death.

Lorena, who was Lauren’s second born child, passed away just minutes after she was born with her umbilical cord wrapped around her neck.

The TOWIE star, 37, has since opened up about the heartbreaking moment and said it was the ‘most traumatic experience of her life’.

Addressing those who did not reach out to her on the anniversary of her daughter’s death, Lauren Goodger branded them a ‘disgrace’ in a scathing Instagram post on Monday.

In a now-deleted post, she wrote on Instagram: ‘For all those that didn’t send me a message today let a call or even seen us! you are a disgrace! No respect for Lorena at all or myself or Larose!

‘Some of you a re family and some are friends! But really your not genuine family of friends…

‘I will only tolerate you for Larose sake but when she older she will see through it all and make her own judgment…

‘Also Lorena is watching everything and if you made 0 effort to even drop me a thinking of you message, shame on you because you’ve let Lorena down also! Thanks for calling Larose today.’

Lauren Goodger and her daughter Larose, two, marked the date by having a birthday cake and letting off a balloon into the sky beside a plaque honouring Lorena. The words ‘always in our hearts’ are etched onto the plaque.

The area was decorated with a white rose, a lit pink candle and a birthday card addressed to Lorena, as well as a picture frame.

Lauren Goodger shared a video of how they spent their time on the day, alongside a caption which read: ‘Happy heavenly 2nd birthday Lorena – made me realise even more each year how lucky I am to have your big sister Larose!

‘She is one in am million and I couldn’t have got through today without her. She is my rock! So so so proud of both my girls love you both always mummy.’

Lauren Goodger spoke about the tragic loss of her daughter Lorena after making her return to The Only Way Is Essex earlier this year in April.

She opened up to her longtime friend Amy Childs, in heart-wrenching scenes which aired during her first episode back.

Lauren gave birth to her daughter, Lorena, in July 2022 however even after a ‘textbook’ pregnancy and labour, Lorena passed away shortly after being born.

At the time, the reality TV star, said ‘I went into hospital thinking I’d come out with a baby girl, but I came home with nothing’.

Lauren said: ‘Who knew then that wed be sitting here now, gone through everything we’ve gone through, kids, life.’

The reality star is also a mother to Larose, two, whom she shares with her ex Charles Drury.
