Sarah Jessica Parker paid tribute to her twin daughters Loretta and Tabitha on their 15th birthday over the weekend.
The 59-year-old mother-of-three, Sarah Jessica Parker who also shares 21-year-old son James with husband Matthew Broderick, posted a photo of pink balloons.
Although she opted not to show the teenage girls’ faces, she wrote a heartfelt caption for her 9.8 million followers to see.
‘2 divine 15 year olds. We are so lucky and we love you so.Happy birthday to our dearest Loretta and Tabitha,’ the gushing mom said.
The Sex and the City sensation added: ‘Celebrating you both today was pure joy. X, Mama.’
Sarah Jessica Parker didn’t share how she and her family spent the girls’ special day but the post has so far racked up nearly 116,000 likes.
Earlier this year the doting parent revealed that she lets her daughters eat as much cake and cookies as they desire, after it was banned in her house as a child.
She also noted that it’s important to her that her teens have a healthy
relationship with food.
Speaking on Ruthie’s Tabel 4 podcast, Sarah Jessica Parker said: ‘When I had girls, I didn’t want them to have a relationship with food that was antagonistic and to see it as an enemy.
‘When I was growing up we weren’t allowed sugar in the house or chocolate or cookies.’
Parker explained: ‘So of course, the minute we moved out we all bought a load of cakes and cookies, and I didn’t want that for them.
‘In our house we have cookies, we have cake, we have everything, and as a result you have a better relationship.’
In regards to their physical health, the star resolved: ‘And my daughters will have the figures they have and hopefully they’ll be healthy. And they’re athletes and they enjoy food and have different palates.’
Sharing her wish for her kids, she said, ‘I hope that they can maintain their affection for the experience and their delight in taste.’
Sarah revealed that she and Matthew, who tied the knot in 1997, cook every day and eat together as a family every night.
She shared: ‘Matthew cooks, we both cook every single day. We eat dinner as a family every night. It’s just what we do.’
The Hollywood fixture is currently filming season 3 of the HBO series And Just Like That.
