Taylor Swift has found herself a new London girl squad, enjoying a night on the town in Notting Hill on Tuesday night as she takes a few nights off the Eras tour, Daily Mail reports.
The singer, 34, who is back on stage in Liverpool on Thursday night, let her hair down at Argentinean restaurant Casa Cruz alongside a new posse of girlfriends.
Taylor Swift was joined by Kate Moss, Stella McCartney, Andrew Scott and Phoebe Waller Bridge while old pals Cara Delevingne and Lena Dunham, who both live in London, also joined the party.
Completing the lineup was Taylor’s close pals, Haim sisters Este and Danielle and music legend Chrissie Hynde.
Taylor Swift looked gorgeous in a black corset layered under a tailored grey coat and accessorised with a choker necklace and towering heels to match her lipstick shade.
Kate, 50, wowed in a white satin pencil skirt and matching blazer for the plush dinner, finishing her look with fishnets and platform heels.
Stella MCartney was the designer of choice for the night out, with Taylor, Phoebe and Cara all sporting looks from their mutual friend.
Phoebe matched Taylor’s style in a camel coat layered over a head-to-toe black look, beaming as she left the restaurant in a black cab with her Fleabag co-star Andrew, who couldn’t stop smiling after the fun night out.
The singer is an outspoken fan of multi-talented Brit star, having first met when Phoebe hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live in 2019 where Taylor was the musical guest.
Back in 2020 Taylor wrote a letter in support of the writer for the Time’s 100 list of the most influential people.
Cara meanwhile left Tuesday’s dinner her singer girlfriend Minke and Stella as well as Stella’s daughter Bailey Linda Olwyn Willis, 17, giggling as they piled into a car together.
Model Cara and designer Stella matched in £1,590 Teddy biker jackets from Stella’s line.
Casa Cruz is described as an ‘intimate, warm and elegant neighbourhood restaurant tucked into the leafy streets of London’s Notting Hill’.
Taylor Swift and co could have chosen to dine on the likes of a 250g beef fillet steak for £50 or a 1.2kg côte de boeuf would have cost £140, making it the most expensive dish on the menu.
The restaurant is where Rita Ora hosted her lockdown flouting 30th birthday bash in November 2020.
It narrowly avoided losing its licence after councillors voted to suspend it for six weeks following the furore over the incident, which saw Rita’s representatives offering the since-departed manager £5,000 for the illegal opening.
While the others are new friends of Taylor’s, Cara has been a close companion of the star in recent years.
Taylor and Cara are regularly seen out and about with mutual friends Selena Gomez and Blake Lively in the singer’s home city of New York, but it appears Brit model Cara has introduced her old friend to a new London-based set of friends.
Last week Taylor made a secret dash visit to watch Cara perform in her West End show Cabaret, before heading to Edinburgh for her first UK gigs.
In a montage of snaps on her social media, Cara shared a photo of herself and Taylor wrapping their arms around each other as they posed in her dressing room, with the singer showing her love for mutual pal Stella by wearing a £1,324 blue sweater from the designer.
Taylor and Cara are regularly seen hanging out together, most recently at a Kansas City Chiefs game in Buffalo, New York, where Taylor was supporting her boyfriend Travis Kelce.
Cara previously shared her support for Taylor and Travis, speaking at the Las Vegas Grand Prix last year, saying: ‘I’m so so happy for her. There’s definitely something very different about them. I’m always rooting for my girl.’
Lena Dunham is another old friend of Taylor’s, with the singer one of Lena’s bridesmaids at her 2021 London wedding to Luis Felber.
The two first interracted over a decade ago with Lena tweeting her praise for Taylor’s album Red in 2012, gushing it was ‘triumphant … If she’d been here when I was in college I would have written papers on her, not Sylvia Plath.’
Taylor responded by declaring her love for Lena’s show Girls, then in its first season, writing ‘you made my day with that. I’m now going to sit in my dressing room reciting my fav @girlsHBO quotes.. Which is all of them.’
Taylor wrapped up her three night run at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium on Sunday, kicking off the UK leg of her huge Eras tour.
The singer told fans she was ‘blown away’ by the experience, writing an emotional Instagram caption filled with gratitude for her fans and declaring her love for all 220,000 of them.
The singer penned: ‘Edinburgh!!! You truly blew me away this weekend.
Thank you for breaking the all-time attendance record for a stadium show in Scotland 3 times in a row and for all the ways you made us feel right at home.
Next up for Taylor is Liverpool. One of the most musical cities in the world is gearing up to transform itself into a Taylor Swift themed wonderland to welcome the pop superstar.
More than 150,000 swifties from far and wide will descend on Liverpool for her three sold-out stadium shows at Anfield, taking place between June 13 and 15.
The Northern city, often dubbed the birthplace of pop, will morph into
‘Taylor Town’ from June 8 to celebrate the singer with a series of art installations inspired by some of her most iconic musical moments.
The undisputed Queen of pop is set to boost the British economy by almost £1 billion, a new report has revealed.
Researchers have calculated each Swiftie attending an Eras concert in the UK will spend on average £848 to see their idol perform.
The total is more than 12 times the average £67 cost of a UK night out and the Chancellor can expect a £997 million boost to the economy thanks to Taylor’s 15 tour dates this summer.
