Bridget Moynahan is thinking about loyalty after comedians poked fun at her split from Tom Brady at his roast.
The Blue Bloods actress, Bridget Moynahan 53, shared an Instagram post about loyalty one day after her former relationship with the seven-time Super Bowl champion became a hot topic during his Netflix special, The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady.
Moynahan shared a photo of a black and white quote that read, “Loyal people take s— more personal because they never would’ve did that s— to you.” She also captioned the post with a simple statement, “So true.”

Though many of jokes were made in jest, some of Brady’s most scathing roasts came at the expense of his prior relationship with Moynahan.
Comedian Nikki Glaser pulled no punches addressing the topic, telling Brady, “But seriously, Tom, you’re the best to ever play for too long. You retired, then you came back and then you retired again, I get it, it’s hard to walk away from something that’s not your pregnant girlfriend, it’s tough.”
“Hey, to be fair, he didn’t know she was pregnant, he just thought she was getting fat,” she added as a final jab at the situation.
Will Ferrell also made a few jabs dressed as Ron Burgundy from his Anchorman films.
“The last time this guy went truly deep, he ended up paying child support to Bridget Moynahan,” Ferrell said. “I wrote that myself this morning, in the airport bathroom at LaGuardia.”
In 2004, Brady, 46, and Bridget Moynahan, 53, entered into a relationship that lasted until December 2006, and a few months later Moynahan announced that she was pregnant with Brady’s son. However, Brady had begun a new relationship with his now ex-wife and former supermodel Gisele Bundchen.
Moynahan gave birth to their son Jack in August 2007. In the years since their breakup, the former couple has appeared to maintain an amicable relationship for their child.
“Tom and I made a decision to raise a child together and we both found partners that not only supported us in raising that child, but also loved our child as if he was their own,” Moynahan told PEOPLE in 2019. “I don’t think you can ask for more than that. My son is surrounded by love and grandparents that go on forever, and it’s all good.”
