Tori Spelling’s mom Candy Spelling is supporting her daughter Tori Spelling through her divorce.

While attending the MOCA Gala 2024 at the Geffen Contemporary at MOCA in Los Angeles on Saturday, April 13, Tori Spelling’s mom Candy 78, shared that Tori, 50, has relied on her amid her split from her husband of 18 years, Dean McDermott, People reports.

“Well, she really needed [support],” Candy said, adding that it meant “a lot” to be able to help her daughter.

“Everything’s good,” continued Candy, who was married to TV producer Aaron Spelling for decades before his death in 2006 at the age of 83.

Tori officially filed for divorce from McDermott, 57, in March, months after the couple announced their split in June 2023.

The Beverley Hills, 90210 actress and her mother have previously been estranged and had ups and downs in their relationship, but a source close to the family recently told People that Candy and Tori were on good terms immediately following the separation announcement.

“She has given Tori assurances that her and her kids would absolutely be taken care of and there should be no financial insecurity moving forward,” an insider said of Candy in July 2023, adding that she’d also been getting closer to her grandkids — Liam Aaron, 17, Stella Doreen, 15, Hattie Margaret, 12, Finn Davey, 11, and Beau Dean, 7.
