There is no bad blood between Dean McDermott and Tori Spelling despite the latter officially filing to end their 18-year marriage, Page Six reports.

According to the report, Page Six, Paparazzi caught the “Chopped Canada” host Dean McDermott out and about in Los Angeles on Saturday, less than 24 hours after Spelling filed the divorce paperwork.
When asked how he was holding up, McDermott told the photogs he was “doing good.”

“It’s been a long time coming but T and I are good,” he added, per a video obtained by the Daily Mail.

According to the report, Dean McDermott who wore jeans, a tan jacket and a plaid undershirt appeared in good spirits while making a quick coffee stop.

Despite the divorce news, the 57-year-old was still seemingly wearing his black wedding ring on his right hand.

Spelling’s divorce filing didn’t come as a shock as the pair announced their separation on June 17, 2023, the same date listed in court documents obtained by Page Six.

The “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum, 50, cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split and requested joint legal custody of their five minor children: Liam, 17, Stella, 15, Hattie, 12, Finn, 11, and Beau, 7.

However, she is seeking sole physical custody of the kids with visitation granted to McDermott.

Spelling also requested that her soon-to-be ex-husband pay spousal support and her attorney’s fees.

Although the pair had previously made it clear that their marriage was over, Spelling surprisingly broke the news to McDermott while recording the most recent episode of her “Misspelling” podcast.

The mother of five began the phone call by telling McDermott she was sorry to drop the bomb on him while he was “in the middle of going to work.”

“Oh, s–t. He’s at work right now,” she said. “This sucks.”

However, Spelling who was spotted sobbing in her car following a tense conversation with Dean McDermott earlier in the week quickly cut to the chase.

“They’ve done it,” she said. “It’s the formality. It’s just the one sheet you check off, and next, you’ll have to sign it.”

Although McDermott’s half of the phone call wasn’t aired, the “Due South” actor seemingly argued over her decision to file first.

“Wait, it’s gonna be spun what way? That I’ve had enough of you? What? What do you mean?” she asked.

“In all honesty after this whole journey, if it’s about … who files first, the other person is wrong, I feel like I deserve to file first then,” she continued. “You basically put it out there with Daily Mail and said everything you’ve done to me over the years, so I think it makes perfect sense that it followed up that I would file.”

After a bit of back and forth, the exes seemingly reached a resolution and Spelling ended the call with, “Love you.”

An emotional Spelling then told listeners that she had “never felt more alone in 50 years” and did not “feel worth loving” while “in a room full of friends doing a podcast.”

She also explained McDermott’s side of the call, explaining that he had hired a lawyer and was planning on filing himself.

However, he told her that the news was “great” and a “good” thing.
