Two Internet Fraudsters Jailed In Maiduguri

Two internet fraudsters have been jailed in Maiduguri, the state capital of Borno state, Nigeria, authorities of the anti-graft agency said in a statement.

According to the statement released on Wednesday 20th March 2024, by the Economic and Fianancial Crimes Commission (EFCC), the two internet fraudsters through the effort of the EFCC Maiduguri zonal command, were on Tuesday 19th March 2024, were convicted and sentenced by Justice J.K Dagat of the Federal High Court sitting in Maiduguri on a one-count separate charge bordering on money laundering.

The identities of the convicted fraudsters were given as Omachile Gabriel (alias Priest Tamara Shane)and Micah Njawindumai (alias Edgar David, Oldmangt, Professional Hacker).
