Two suspected vandals have been nabbed by the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Lagos State Police Command, for stealing fabricated metal drainage covers in Lagos.
According to the statement released on Tuesday 26th September 2023, by the Lagos State Police Rapid Response, the two suspected vandals were arrested by operatives of the RRS around 5: 00 a.m while on patrol of the Freedom Way, Ikate, Lekki area of Lagos state.
“The suspected vandals were loading the drainage covers into a minibus popularly called “korope” with the registration number KTU 45 YD when the operatives accosted them,” the statement added.
The suspects were identified as Jubreel Haruna (29) and Adewale Rabiu (27).
They have since been charged to court for prosecution in line with the directives of Commander RRS, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi.
