Super Falcons of Nigeria players are enjoying their two days off, as they were photographed on and about in the city of Brisbane, Australia on sightseeing on Wednesday.

In a series of Photos shared on the official social media handle of the Nigerian Women’s national team, showed the Super Falcons of Nigeria players in smaller units, spotting the official Nigerian Football Federation sweat shirts, with trainers as they walk about the streets of Brisbane enjoying, the beautiful weather in Australia, before their giant clash with the English Women’s national team on Monday.

According to the caption of the post on social media handle on Wednesday 2nd August 2023, the Super Falcons of Nigeria who are on a two-day recovery routine, will start full training activities on Thursday, at Lions FC stadium.

The Super Falcons will meeting the English national team, the Lionesses on Monday at the round of 16 of the ongoing FIFA Women World Cup.

Nigeria put up a wonderful performance at the group stage, beating host Australia 2-3 and playing out a goalless draw with the likes of Canada and Ireland to finish second in their group. The English team on the other hand, won all their group games to finish top of their group, and will now play Nigeria for the quarter final ticket on Monday, 7th August 2023, by 8:30am.
