Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi, has praised the staff of Warri South Local Government Council as they mark May Day, saying they have demonstrated professionalism as critical partners in the implementation of his administration’s development agenda.

Dr. Tidi, who showered the encomiums in a message to celebrate Workers’ Day, noted that the occasion offers an opportunity to celebrate workers and highlight their importance in the government’s efforts to positively impact the lives of the citizenry.

The Warri South Local Government Boss stated “Today, May 1, 2023, I wholeheartedly congratulate workers in Warri South Local Government Area on the occasion of this year’s Workers’ Day celebrations.

“May Day offers an opportunity to celebrate workers and highlight their importance in the government’s efforts to positively impact the lives of the citizenry.

“Workers’ contribution to the socio-economic development of the Council Area and the State at large cannot be overemphasized. Our workforce has demonstrated professionalism, diligence, and commitment as critical partners in the implementation of the administration’s development agenda.

“We thank them for their service and assure them of our administration’s commitment to their welfare and professional development,” he said.
