Bola Tinubu’s camp is being dragged on social media for allegedly photoshopping TV and Big Brother Naija host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu’s photo as part of his campaign photos.
The allegation which we cannot substantiate, was posted by a former Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial district of Kogi State, Senator Dino Melaye on his official social media handle on Friday 6th January 2023.
Taking to his official Twitter handle, Senator Dino Melaye who is of the former ruling party, and the major opposition party of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in his post, posted a photo of Bola Tinubu spotting the igbo traditional attire to promote his Presidential ambition and appeal for votes from those from the South East region of Nigeria.
According to Senator Dino Melaye, as it turns out, the move by Bola Tinibu’s camp to project him as a Presidential candidate for all the regions of Nigeria, resulted to them opting for a photoshop rather than the APC Presidential candidate taking an actual photo embellished in the Igbo traditional outfit.
In captioning the photo, Senator Dino Melaye, has this to say:
“See how Tinubu dem photoshop Ebuka’s picture,plus feather and ring placed in same position. Oga oooo. There is nothing original about this Emilokan man. SDM,” he said.

This will not be the first time Bola Tinubu’s camp will be accused of photoshop, and some of them turned out to have been allegedly done by the opposition members of major opposition political parties in Nigeria.
A case in point was when a viral photograph of the APC national leader in a wet outfit was circulated on social media casting doubts on his state of health. But the Tinubu Support Groups Management Council quickly countered the attempt, saying that the said viral photo was manipulated, while also noting that Tinubu is healthy and physically fit to be Nigeria’s President in 2023, contrary to claims by propagandists.
Some of the photoshopped photos were also posted by supporters of Tinubu, like the photos of him meeting up with the President of the United States Joe Biden at the White house which later turned out to be a photoshop, to support their arguments on social media.
