The chairman of UBA Group, Heir Holdings and Transcorp Plc Mr Tony Elumelu is celebrating his Mother who clocked 90 yesterday. The man who is the brain behind ‘Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme’, which has helped millions of African youths on entrepreneurship training and startup, took to his social media page to put up a photo of himself, the mother with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He captioned the photo with this lovely words:
This week we celebrated my mother’s 90th birthday. This is iconic and symbolic in many ways for me. I always talk about the need to empower women across Africa because I know first hand the power of just one enterprising woman. Suffice it to say that I wouldn’t be the man I am today without my mom. I thank God for her life. Happy birthday mama!! ??
