Mrs Florence Ajimobi has led her children and millions of others in Oyo State and abroad, to pay tribute to her late husband and former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Ajimobi on what would have been his 73rd birthday today.
The late Senator Ajimobi died in June 2020 at a private hospital in Lagos, after spending weeks in intensive care for coronavirus complications. He died at the age of 70.
And on his birthday today Friday 16th December 2022, his wife Florence Ajimobi took to her official Instagram handle to pay emotional tributes to her husband and the father of their children.
Mrs Florence Ajimobi, who shared a sweet photograph of her late husband, captioned the photo with:
“Another year to celebarte a darling husband, futiful father, astute leader and man of peace, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.
Each day, we see your legacies radiating in fold and cannot but thank God for the life you lived, spending your days to impact and inspire.
We celebrate the life you lived while upholding the legacies you created.
Happy 73rd posthumous birthday my darling husband, our loving father and doting granny.
Fondly celebrated by your Florie, Children and grandchildren,” she said.
Mr Ajimobi was a senator from 2003 to 2007. After unsuccessful attempts, he was ultimately elected governor in 2011 and re-elected in 2015, becoming the first Oyo State governor to serve two terms.
