A suspected kidnapper has been neutralised and his kidnapped victim rescued by the Delta State Police operatives, a statement posted on the official social media handle of the State Command reports.
According to the statement released on Wednesday 14th December 2022, by the Delta State Police Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, the successful operation that led to the killing of the suspected kidnapper, was carried out by officers of the Ozoro command on Tuesday 13th December 2022.
DSP Bright Edafe who released the statement and shared photos of the suspected kidnapper and the victim, stated that the suspected was neutralised and kidnapped victim who was shot and kept in the trunk of the car rescue.
Among the items recovered was one locally made Cut-to-size double barrel gun. And a manhunt for other suspects is ongoing.
