Osun Mega rally: Davido declares total support for PDP

Osun mega rally: Singer Davido has declared his full support to the opposition political party of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as he shares a photo of himself embellished in a PDP designed ‘Agbada’.

Davido who has been going round Osun Local Government Areas campaigning for the PDP Governorship aspirant who coincidentally is his uncle, Senator Adeleke for the September 22nd, 2018, Governorship election in Osun State, joined other PDP big-guns for the Osun Mega rally.

The PDP Osun mega rally is coming just 24-hours after the ruling party of the All Progressives Congress (APC) launched theirs in Osogbo town for their own candidate, as PDP and Senator Adeleke who has been accused of dodging the media, look to wrestle back power from the APC in the PDP formerly controlled Osun state.
Davido in putting up the photo of him wearing the PDP campaign ‘Agbada’ captioned the photo with:
“Osogbo mega rally today!!! Senator Ademola Adeleke victory awaits you and the beautiful people of the state of Osun!”

Davido before the PDP mega rally, has himself alongside his cousins kick-started the campaign for his uncle in Osun State. The singer to show his commitment to family matters, had to cancel his tour to the United State to show support to his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke.

PDP and Davido will be looking to replicate their achievements at the just Senatorial election which Senator Ademola Adeleke defeated the APC candidate to become a first time Senator come on Saturday.

The election on Saturday would be a keenly contested election which most political observers see as a two horse race between the ruling party APC and the opposition party of the PDP, despite the presence of other political parties and for obvious reasons.

Also, Governor Aregbosola would again retake a popularity test come on Saturday, having lost the last Senatorial election, and with all the challenges the state has faced in the last few months, it is clearly going to be a bigger test come Saturday for Ogbeni…
