Popular Power actor and singer Rotimi Akintosho and fiancée Vanessa Mdee, have announced that they are expecting their second child a baby girl together.
Rotimi Akintosho and fiancée Vanessa Mdee made the announcement on their separate social media handles on Tuesday, showing footage from their second baby shower where the sex of the baby was revealed.
Before their official announcement, the couple had already revealed exclusively to PEOPLE on Monday that Mdee was pregnant with a baby girl.
“We’re excited to announce that our baby girl is on the way. What a beautiful testament to GOD’s favor. We are overjoyed,” the couple said in a statement.
In the footage shared by Rotimi Akintosho and Vanessa Mdee, Rotimi released an umbrella, raining pink confetti on the expectant couple to the excitement of Vanessa who couldn’t contain her joy at the reveal.
The Love Riddim crooner and Mdee had earlier welcomed a son, Seven Adeoluwa, in September 2021.
The love birds’ romance started after meeting in New Orleans at an Essence Festival after-party.
Vanessa, 33; and Rotimi, 34; took their relationship further when the Power actor proposed on the 30th of December, 2020, at Atlanta.
