One Gabriel Volts, a Delta State man who was accused of allegedly beheading his son for a money ritual, has been arrested by the Delta State Police Command.
The Delta State man, Gabriel Volts, according to the statement released on Saturday 25th June 2022, by Bright Edafe, the Police Public Relations Officer of the state command, stated that the 33-year-old man was arrested for allegedly beheading his son for ritual.
The statement by the Delta State Police command stated that the suspect used a hand saw to cut off the head of his one-year-and-eight-months old son at Etinabobo bush in Edo state for ritual purposes and buried him by the palm tree.
“The suspect was arrested after the child went missing, and the suspect lied to the wife that the son is with his sister in Warri, which turned out to be false, this prompted the wife to be suspicious, so she reported to the Police. The suspect has confessed to the alleged crime.
A lot of things are happening, may God help us,” the statement added.
