The Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State, and foremost aspirant to the Warri South Constituency II Seat in Delta State House of Assembly, on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr Michael Tidi, has promised the delegates of Warri South constituency II effective representation if elected their representative.
Dr Michael Tidi who has continued his campaign for delegates to support his legislative ambition, in a statement released on his official social media handle on Thursday 12th May 2022, stated that the emerging political intricacies in the build-up to next year’s election, demand sound representation, urging delegates in Warri South Constituency II to back his legislative ambition.
” To guarantee fast, efficient and intelligent representation, capable of creating deliverable pieces of legislation as well as aptly interpreting government policies and programmes,” he said.
Dr. Tidi, asserted that the determination of the National leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to field the best candidates at all levels, is what the country needs at his critical period in our history, adding:
” With the backing of PDP delegates in Warri South Constituency, to enable me to emerge PDP flagbearer, the constituency will witness unprecedented economic revival, enviable urban renewal and improved peace-building amongst the diverse interests.”
The Warri South Constituency top contender, appealed to party delegates to give him the mandate come May 18, to fly the PDP flag and, ” make my party and constituents experience sound representation.”
The House of Assembly hopeful also urged party delegates to drop retrogressive sentiments and vote him as PDP candidate for Warri South Constituency 2:
“So that I can advance my resolve to revive the socio – economic life and infrastructural development of Warri South, to an appreciable level, through initiation of quality pieces of legislation and effective oversight, geared towards making the programmes and policies of the state government more visible in Warri South Local Government Area and other parts of the state,” he added.
