A 25-year-old Ukrainian has been found dead in Bois de Vincennes, Paris’ largest city park, AFP reports.
According to the report, the 25-year-old Ukrainian was discovered with “trousers down” and two wounds to the lips and chest. An autopsy is already underway to determine the cause of his death.
The report quoting Le Parisien stated that the 25-year-old Ukrainian was found dead last Friday evening on the Sabotiers road, in the Bois de Vincennes. Homeless people alerted the police after seeing the victim’s body.
According to a police source quoted by Le Parisien, the victim was discovered “pants down” and “his body had a bleeding wound on the lip and a stab wound on the chest”.
Ongoing investigation
The body of the 25-year-old was transported to the Forensic Institute of the Quai de la Rappée in the 12th arrondissement. An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of his death.
The victim was in possession of a Ukrainian passport. The Ukrainian Embassy has been informed of the tragic event.
A voluntary homicide investigation is underway.
