Singer, Florent Pagny who revealed a few weeks ago that he is suffering from a “cancerous tumour” in the “lung” which “cannot be operated on”, has given fans an update on his state of health Thursday on the set of the JT of TF1, AFP reports.
According to the report, the singer Florent Pagny while speaking on his health, said “I am very well.” well on the set of TF1 on Thursday evening.
The singer, who came to TF1 “to give some news” and “speak directly and clearly to people”, revealed that he had been lucky to discover his tumour “very early on”: “I I’ve had three or six months.”
“I’m doing very well, I’m at grade 1. I only have one tumour, I have no metastases. I have nothing in other organs. This is a second very good news. We can’t operate, because it’s dividing very, very quickly. There’s a lot of risk that it will spread to other organs. We can’t operate, but today, there are real good treatments. There is chemo, immunotherapy, rays”, he confided to the microphone of Gilles Bouleau.
“I really received a tsunami of love”
Florent Pagny, who sees “only the good side of things”, nevertheless activated the “warrior mode”: “We will face the situation. I started chemo, it’s going pretty well. I cash it pretty good.” And to add: “Warrior mode is having the right morale, the right mind. Not being in denial. Facing what can happen to us and not being afraid to talk about it.”
Known for his baritone voice, Florent Pagny also wants to reassure his fans: “I can still sing.” He has just recorded a clip with Patrick Fiori and Patrick Bruel in Corsica. Pagny also thanks his fans for their unconditional support: “I really received a tsunami of love. All these messages contribute to everything going pretty well in a somewhat critical moment.”

Florent Pagny announced last January on Instagram that he suffered from a “cancerous tumour” in the “lung” which “cannot be operated on”. The singer clarified that he had to “go into a six-month protocol of chemotherapy and X-rays”.

Florent Pagny, who was to end his tour in July, has promised to go back on stage very soon. He will be in the new season of The Voice , shot a few months ago. He hopes to be able to participate in the live taped shows next spring:
“I have six months of chemo. I’m going to finish in May. I don’t know how I’ll be in May. Maybe in May I’m flawless. Maybe I’ll be tired. We’ll see.”
