Nordahl Lelandais: Ex Admits To Helping Him With Cocaine

A lady who called herself an ex-girlfriend to Nordahl Lelandais has revealed how she deliver cocaine, cell phones and rum to him in prison.

According to the report by AFP, the ex-girlfriend identified simply as Elisabeth revealed all this in an interview with Dauphiné Libéré.

The trial of Nordahl Lelandais, the alleged perpetrator of the murder of Maëlys de Araujo, will open on January 31, who was sentenced last May for that of Corporal Arthur Noyer.

In a hearing on January 13 the 50-year-old woman, Elisabeth, a resident of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, gave her testimony to the Dauphiné Libéré in an interview posted online on Saturday.

After having revealed her role to the French Police during her interrogation, she confirmed that she delivered mobile phones to Nordahl Lelandais, at his request, as well as rum and cocaine. She claimed during the interview to have been “used” by her former companion.

AFP reported that their relationship lasted a little over two years, since the first contact in March 2019, after Elisabeth was “shocked” in the words she used with the regional daily by “the violence” of the reactions suffered.

Nordahl Lelandais around the reconstruction of the death of Arthur Noyer. The lovers will separate on December 27, 2021, following a final visit.

In addition to the details of this intimacy, the high point of the interview delivered by Elisabeth is the material support that she gave him at the insistence of the latter.

“In September 2021, I brought him two smartphones that he demanded, entirely in plastic, of which he had given me the brand and the model, because they did not ring at the security gate”, she admits now.

Nordahl Lelandais’ orders did not stop there, however. “I also brought him two chargers, three SIM cards, two grams of cocaine and rum during my visits, hiding them on me,” she adds.

“I saw the man before the acts”

It is at the Isérois penitentiary of Saint-Quentin-Fallavier, where Nordahl Lelandais has been imprisoned since September 2017, that these illegal transmissions took place. Elisabeth explains this complacency by the “hold” the prisoner had over her. As the social sector worker now describes Nordahl Lelandais as a “chameleon”, a “guru”, a “jealous and possessive” being of whom she does not want “to hear any more from near or far”, she paints a completely different table of the man at the beginning of their couple:

“The man I saw was not the one we said. He was extremely protective, gallant, terribly intelligent.”

“I saw the man before the acts. It is undoubtedly my big mistake. What he did, I have always been very clear with him: I do not condone, I do not forgive, I do not find him no extenuating circumstances“, she further developed.

Their union went through several stages. After the first letters in the spring of 2019, Nordahl Lelandais suggests that he request sesame from the administration to come and see him in prison from August, a request satisfied on March 13, 2020. Elisabeth evokes with the Dauphiné Libéré a “rapprochement in the fall of 2019 and then intimate relationships from the beginning of 2021.
