The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) have reported and confirmed a total of 432 new COVID-19 cases of the coronavirus and 14 deaths in the country.
According to the daily report by the health agency, the 432 new COVID-19 cases reported on Wednesday 12th January 2022, now put the total number of confirmed cases since the inception of the pandemic to 249,586 confirmed cases and 220,839 as of the number of discharged cases.
The death toll also stands at 3092 deaths all recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The 432 new cases were reported from 15 states and the distribution of these cases across these states and the federal capital territory, shows the following:

According to the report by NCDC, Wednesday’s report includes:
163 cases were reported from Lagos state for 11th (10) and 12th (153) January,10 cases reported from Akwa Ibom state for 10th (7) and 11th (3) January, 0 cases reported from Ogun, Osun, Ondo, Plateau, Sokoto States.
