The wife of Delta State Governor, and First Lady of Delta State, Dame Edith Okowa has on Saturday welcomed Delta State’s first baby of the new year, 2022.
Dame Edith Okowa who on Saturday 1st January 2022, shared the good news on her official social media handle, stated that she welcomed Delta state’s first baby of 2022 alongside her charity organisation, the O5 Initiative at the Central Hospital Agbor, Delta state.
Dame Okowa took to her social media handle to share a series of photos of her visit to the hospital to see the Delta State’s first baby with a caption that reads:
“Today, the O5 Initiative team and I celebrated with the family of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Enyosa as they welcomed their bundle of joy and Delta State’s first baby of the year 2022, Edith, at the Central Hospital Agbor.
We also visited the Federal Medical Centre in Asaba, where we presented gifts to newborns and paid the hospital bills of 9 indigent families at the Maternity Complex/Neonatal Unit of the hospital,” she added.
