Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have officially unveiled their family Christmas portrait.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge keeping to family tradition, on Friday 10th December 2021, unveiled the family portrait
that will appear on their Christmas card. This year’s snapshot was taken on a trip to Jordan.
The new family portrait was unveiled ahead of the holidays. The family portrait shows Prince William, his wife Kate Middleton and their three children George (8), Charlotte (6) and Louis (3) appear, will appear on their annual greeting card, as they explain on Instagram:
“We are delighted to unveil a new portrait of the family, which can be found on our Christmas card this year,” the photo caption reads.
The family flaunts a relaxed, even summery style: shorts and polo shirts for boys, summer dresses for girls. The photo was taken this year during a family trip to Jordan.
These holidays come to conclude a difficult year for the British royal family, marked by the death of Prince Philip last April at the age of 99.
A few weeks earlier, the reputation of the Crown was tarnished by the interview granted by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to Oprah Winfrey.
The couple, who left their prominent role in the royal family to settle in California, notably accused one of the members of the Royal family of being worried about the skin colour of their eldest son, Archie. In recent weeks, Queen Elizabeth II has had to cancel a series of engagements after a brief hospitalization.
