D'Tigers Of Nigeria Fall 92-99 To Germany

D’Tigers, Nigeria male’s basketball team have recorded yet another defeat in the ongoing Olympic basketball game, as they lost to Germany 92-99 in their early hours of Wednesday.

The two teams were evenly matched, as both teams gave it their all, but it was the German side with more concentration and a game plan that won at the end of the day. It was also the best game so far from the Nigeria male’s basketball team at the ongoing Tokyo 2020, after losing their opening game against Australia.

Nigeria male’s basketball team were down 21-24 in the first quarter but somehow were able to gather themselves together and put up a solid performance in the second quarter as they rallied back to tie the game 50-50 heading to half-time.

The game was also tied in the 3rd quarter 74-74, showing that D’Tigers had the game under control, and could have easily won it, if they had maintained their concentration going to the 4th quarter, where they blew their chance of getting their first win.

A lot still needs to be done, as the Nigeria team showed a lot of promise and with time and a better coach, they can make it far.
Jordan Nwora had 33 points which was not enough to get Nigeria their first win.
