The umbrella body of Yoruba self-determination groups, Ilana Omo Oodua,(IOO) has alleged that Sunday Igboho’s aide, identified as Saheed Adisa, aka Adogan was butchered after 48 gunshots could not penetrate his body.
The group led by ex-Senator Banji Akintoye, in a Facebook post, alleged that the operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS, resorted to butchering Adogan when they raided Igboho’s Ibadan residence on Thursday after 48 gunshots could not pierce his body.
According to IOO, the secret police whisked Sunday Igboho’s Aide Adogan’s body away after butchering him in Igboho’s living room.
Sharing the photo of the deceased, the group wrote, “This is the face of a true warrior. His name is Adogan. He took 48 bullets to his body and was still standing like a fearless Ikoyi Eso. When bullets failed the DSS, they had to slam a mortal on his head, butchering him to death.”
“While DSS operatives were butchering Adogan, Majasola Igboho Oosa (May peace and blessings of Eedua always be with him) had made his exit to fight another day.
“It was said that Adogan’s body was so brutally decapitated by the DSS that they were ashamed to leave his body behind.
“Trust me, we will take our revenge. RIP my good brother! No going back on Yoruba nation.”
The DSS had on Thursday in a press statement confirmed that they invaded the home of Sunday Igboho and reportedly killed some persons and arrested about 12 which they paraded with some cache or arms and other items discovered at the residence. This comes he announced a planned Yoruba Nation rally in Lagos on Saturday 3rd July 2021.
Sunday Igboho has since been declared wanted by the Government.
Meanwhile, Igboho has also dispelled rumour that he was arrested at Sat Guru Maharajji village on Friday.
The embattled youth leader said he was not arrested in a voice note played on Facebook by his media aide, Olayomi Koiki, during a live show at about 11:59pm on Friday.
Igboho, who spoke in Yoruba language, said he was still at his house in Ibadan.
“Good evening my fans. I thank you all. My name is Sunday Igboho and today is July 2 , 2021. I have been hearing that they have arrested me at Guru Maharaj Ji. It is a lie. I was not at Guru Maharaj Ji.
“I’m at my house in Ibadan now,” he said.
