The Governor of Ekiti, Governor Kayode Fayemi on Friday, joined his Lagos State counterpart, Governor Sanwo-Olu and the National Leader of the ruling party of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chief Bola Tinubu for the 8th-day Fidau prayer session for late Chief Jakande.
Dr. Kayode Fayemi and other South-West leaders attended the eighth-day fidau prayer session held at the Ilupeju residence of late ex-governor of Lagos, Lateef, fondly called “Babakekere.”
Others in attendance are, Chief Olusegun Osoba, former inspector-general of police, Musliliu Smith among others.
Late Alhaji Jakande was the first civilian governor of Lagos between October 1, 1979, and December 31, 1983.
