President Buhari extends IGP Mohammed Adamu’s tenure for additional three months. This is coming a few days after he announced the sacking of Service Chiefs and the reappointment of new ones, after calls from Nigerians for their removal.
According to the statement made by the Minister of Police Affairs, Hon. Maigari Dingyadi, this afternoon, at the State House, Abuja, the President extended the tenure of the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu for three months.
Buhari’s decision was to allow for the proper selection of a successor.
