Beyonce’s cousin Martell “Kardone” Derouen has reportedly been shot and killed.
According to reports, 34-year-old Martell, who performed as a rapper named the name Kardone, has been pronounced dead from a gunshot wound. His body was found by San Antonio police who were doing a welfare check on him.
The person who requested the welfare check is unknown. Kardone had not been heard from in a couple of days
Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of a 21-year-old woman named Sasha Skare. They have named her as a suspect in the murder of Beyonce’s cousin.
Kardone was an up-and-coming rapper who was known in the local music scene in Texas. Sasha is reportedly also in the music scene. Kardone produced a track for her over the summer.
Kardone’s widow released a statement about Sasha, “There is no way to replace him but please help us find this girl. She is dangerous and I do believe she will kill again. If you see her please contact the police.”
She said she was “shaken up” by the murder, adding “he didn’t deserve this.” His widow asked for privacy and time to “digest this senseless act.”
Beyoncé’s is yet to comment on the situation. Kardone’s wife posted a wanted poster showing an image of Sasha. She captioned the post, “Let’s catch her. Sorry my last video was cropped wrong. Add this to your stories. #JusticeForMartellDeRouen #JusticeForMartell.”
