The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 1114 new cases of the dreaded coronavirus in Nigeria. The centre also reported 27 new deaths on Friday.
The NCDC, in its daily updates on Friday 29th January 2021, reported on its official social media handle that a total of 1114 new cases of the virus were recorded across the country.
The centre also stated that the latest report includes a backlog of 26 discharged cases in Akwa Ibom State and data from Ondo State reported over the last two days. It also stated that 713 community recoveries were made in Lagos State, 124 in Plateau State & 118 in Kaduna state.
According to the update, the 1114 new cases of the COVID-19, were recorded in 22 states of the federation, including the FCT. The distribution of the 1114 new cases as reported from each state, shows the following:
