Popular Lagos DJ, Mr Seun Omogaji who was famously known as DJ Xgee was alleged to have taken his own life on Tuesday, after drinking an insecticide, “sniper”.
DJ Xgee who was said to have attended a show a few days ago, was said to have ended his life, as he left a suicide note on his Instagram handle, stating what he would want for his funneral.
The Instagram post which is over 12hours now, reads:
“Okay there is a twist to this last respect ppl give to their loved ones when gone ….. Black as signs of sadness ..but in my case please Rock WHITE Cos i love this colour so much . to all have made smiled and to those i have pissed off trust me im only being Human. Enikorewa i love u so much , Eriayo u name sums it all up u are truly d reason for my Joy . Omobolanle ajoke u know i care .. Moradeke my mum may my God heal u and to my in-Laws Stay Blessed Always ❤”
DJ xgee is yet another Nigerian suicide report, as the suicide rate in the country hit an alarming rate, as most suicide reports are mostly men.
His colleagues in the Nigerian entertainment industry have since taken to their various social media handles to mourn his unfortunate death. But one person who was very close to him and has been hit by the news, is popular comedian, Basketmouth.
Mr Bright taking to his Instagram page to mourn the death of a man who was his official DJ, put up some photos of himself and DJ xgee, with this caption:
“Together…we created some amazing memories, you my friend….you will be missed. I can’t believe that the last time I saw you would be my very last. Rest In Peace blood.” He said.
No information as to why he took his own life, as rumour has it that he was having some marital issues, which could have led to him taking his life.
…some reports alleged that he was suffering depression before now. it is unfortunate that he had to take his own life…may his soul rest in peace…
