Buhari Meets The Newly Appointed Service Chiefs

President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, met with the newly appointed Service Chiefs at the State House, Abuja.

Although no official statement yet as to what the President discussed with the newly appointed Service Chiefs, photos from their first official meeting were shared by the Presidency on Wednesday 27th January 2021.

The photos showed the President alongside the newly appointed Service Chiefs and other Presidential aides at the state house.

Recall that we reported here just yesterday, that the President after a prolonged call from Nigerians calling for the sacking of the old service Chiefs, answered their call, as he announced new appointments.

The President had in a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina confirmed the appointment.

The President named the replacements for the sacked service chiefs and the names of the new service chiefs and posts were given as:

Major-General Leo Irabor, Chief of Defence Staff
Major-General I. Attahiru, Chief of Army Staff
Rear Admiral A.Z Gambo, Chief of Naval Staff
Air-Vice Marshal I.O Amao, Chief of Air Staff.
