President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed shock and sadness at the death of Sam Nda-Isaiah, the publisher of Leadership Newspaper.
President Muhammadu Buhari in a statement released on Saturday 12th December 2020, through his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr Garba Shehu, described the man, Sam Nda-Isaiah, as “a friend and ally.”
The Presidential spokesman added that the President condoles with the media fraternity, the Nda-Isaiah family, friends and associates of the deceased, saying “the country has lost a man of conviction, a resolute and dogged believer in a better Nigeria.”
“He will be sorely missed. This is a massive fish gone out of the media ocean,” he said.
The late Sam who was a trained pharmacist, renowned columnist, and one time presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was said to have died on Friday night, after feeling unwell earlier in the day.
