Ned Nwoko, the husband to Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, is on the trending list of the Nigerian Twitter street again. He is trending this time, for saying that he can marry as many wives as he wants, and his wives are all aware.

The Politician and businessman turned celebrity since his marriage to Regina Daniels, had stated this in a recent video interview with BBC Igbo.

Mr Ned Nwoko in the video, shared his love story stating that he married the actress three weeks after they met.

“I met her and I liked her. We got married within three weeks. I married all my wives within the same period. I don’t believe in dating anybody to marry them.

Don’t date anybody you want to marry. When you marry them, you begin to fall in love within the marriage.

Even in my culture, as it were as a kid in the 60s, people were not dating. They arranged marriages from family to family; they choose a wife.

Most girls were expected to be virgins when they get married and they build a family from there. Because they did not know each other before they got married, there was a lot of excitement and a lot of learning to do.

But Regina and I is a story that is interesting because before I met her, I did not know about her. I do not watch movies; I never watch movies.

I met her the first time when she came to my house with her mother and her siblings because my place in Delta is a tourist place. They came to look around and I liked her and that was it.

“So whether I marry another wife or not; she knows it can happen. I come from a very polygamous environment. I love children so I want more children. She knows this and my other wives know it so we will see what happens in the future,” Nwoko said.

Regina Daniels and her husband Ned Nwoko welcomed their first child together, a baby boy, earlier this year.

Regina Daniels’s brother who shared a cute picture from Regina’s pregnancy shoot, was the first to announce the good news. He took to social media to write “You have always been strong in all ramifications and I’m proud of you congrats @regina.daniels it’s a boy” he had said.

The 21-year-old had a surprise baby shower to celebrate her child’s impending arrival. The all-white event which took place in Abuja and was organised by her friends with the help of her hubby.

Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko had on 30th May 2020, confirmed her pregnancy. She made the big reveal on her Instagram page, where she shared a live video of her baby bump, taking some of her fans by surprise.

Regina Daniels who is still in her early twenties, in the Instagram video, was spotted getting her hair done inside what looks like a studio, while in a black dress, showing what appears to be the first look at her bump.

She shared the video with a caption saying that her unborn child is about to change her life in a big way, and she has never been this happy. She said:

“I have never been this happy before, This feeling of becoming a mum is the most amazing journey of my life …I see myself speaking to my tummy all day, staring at the mirror and still can’t believe it. This child is about to change my entire life Oh! How much I can’t wait,” she said.

Regina Daniels is reported to be the 7th wives of Ned Nwoko, who is also reported to have recently found himself a new bride, and will soon make the big announcement.
