Moji Ladeji: Ayo Fayose Loses Elder Sister After A Brief Illness

Former Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Ayo Fayose has announced the demise of his elder sister, Mrs Moji Ladeji.

The immediate past governor of Ekiti State, taking to his official Twitter handle on Monday 21st September 2020, said Mrs Moji Ladeji died after a brief illness.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Mr Ayo Fayose twitted saying:

“On behalf my family, I announce the death of my immediate elder sister, Mrs Moji Ladeji.

She died today, after a brief illness. We are pained by your departure but consoled by the God-fearing and exemplary life that you lived. May the soul of Sister Moji rest in peace,” he had tweeted on Monday.

While Mr Ayo Fayose did not mention what killed his elder sister, the late Mrs Moji Ladeji was one of those linked to a property worth over N200million located at No.44, Osun Cresent, Maitama, Abuja by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) in their N2.5bn fraud trial against Mr Ayo Fayose.

According to reports earlier this year, a banker identified as Olugbenga Falai, who while testifying as a witness, had revealed this.

Fayose, alongside a firm, Spotless Limited, is being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission before the Federal High Court in Lagos over an alleged N2.5billion naira fraud, where Mrs Moji Ladeji was also mentioned.
