The total number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in Nigeria as at Monday 27th July 2020, is put at 41,180 by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). This figure was reported by the centre, while also confirming 648 new cases of the virus on Monday.
According to the statement posted on the official social media handle of the NCDC, as at Monday 27th July 2020, the centre reported 648 new cases across some states of the federation. The 648 new cases, were recorded in 21 states of the Federation, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The NCDC on their official social media handle reported that while a total of 41,180 cases has so far been recorded in Nigeria, 18,203 patients have been discharged, with 860 deaths reported as a Monday, 27th July 2020.
