Tiwa Glows In Bubu And Turban Wishing Muslims Happy Sallah

Africa’s number one bad girl, and the most talked-about African female artists, Tiwa Savage has just shared a lovely Instagram selfie. In the latest Instagram selfie, she is spotting the traditional Bubu and a Turban to felicitate with her Muslim friends and family, who are about marking the end of the Ramadan fasting.

Tiwa Savage knowing the importance of such celebration to Muslims, opted for a more conservative look on Saturday 23rd May 2020, when she shared photos of herself taken from inside her customised luxury Mercedes-Benz V-Class, looking all expensive with a dark shade to match.

She captioned the photos with this message to celebrate her fans, who have gone through the Ramadan fasting in the last 30/31 days. She also acknowledged that although the moon was not sighted on Friday 22nd May 2020, which could have signaled the end of this year’s Ramadan fasting, she is just sending her love and best wishes to all Muslims as they prepare to celebrate when the Moon is finally sighted. She said:

“I Know the Moon was not sighted yesterday, but celebrating with my Muslim friends and family in Addy,” she said.

Tiwa Savage who recently graced the cover of Billboard Magazine alongside Davido and Mr Eazi, in what was themed ‘Africa Now’ where the three were highlighted as the three biggest musicians in Africa who through their hard works have without invitation, brought some of the biggest record labels to their door-steps, talked about their lockdown experience. In some parts of the interview with Billboard Magazine, Tiwa Savage explained how she has been coping since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic and how that has affected her career and life in general.

According to the report obtained from Billboard magazine, which was a video interview, Tiwa Savage speaking on how the pandemic has affected her, said:

“I had a tour planned, a bunch of festivals lined up. When it finally dawned on me that those weren’t going to happen this year, it made me wake up and realize how fragile life is and how we take it for granted. So I’ve been spending time with my son and speaking on the phone more with my family. More importantly, I’ve been giving out food to people around my neighborhood. I can quarantine for a month or couple of months, but some of these people don’t even have food for tomorrow,” she had said….more on billboard magazine, as we also wish her a happy celebration…
