The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 242 new cases of coronavirus on Monday 11th May 2020, as total cases across some states in Nigeria now 4641.
The NCDC in their daily update on Monday, stated on their official twitter handle, announced the 242 new cases, and these numbers are distributed as follows across states:

64-Kano
49-Katsina
13-Kaduna
9-Ogun
6-Gombe
4-Adamawa
3-FCT
1-Ondo
1-Oyo
1–Rivers
1-Zamfara
1-Borno
1-Bauchi
The 242 new cases puts total confirmed cases at 4641 and number of discharged COVID-19 patients at 902, and total number of deaths put at 150.
NCDC also apologised to the government of Nasarawa for erroneously announcing two new deaths in the state on the 10th of April 2020, saying there was just one death and that they were sorry for the misinformation.
“We apologise to the State Government for this error, & remain committed to providing accurate data,” NCDC added.
