Mercy Johnson’s husband, Prince Okojie has reacted to the ‘fake news’ spreading around about his wife and popular Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson welcoming her 4th child, calling it a piece of ‘good news’ but his wife is yet to put to bed.
Mercy Johnson’s husband taking to his Instagram page on Sunday 26th April 2020, said he woke up to see countless missed calls and messages on his phone, all congratulating him on the arrival of their new baby. He said although the news is not true, as they are still expecting, all the same, his family are thankful for the show of love.
To further prove that the news was fake news, he took to his Instagram page, posting some photos of his family on sunday morning, somewhere outside the country where we suspecting Mercy Johnson will be having her 4th child, with this caption to refutes the rumour. He said:
“I woke up this morning to see countless missed calls and messages congratulating me on the arrival of our new baby.
We are so thankful for the show of love, but my wife @mercyjohnsonokojie has not put to bed yet, it is good news and I will certainly update you all when it happens.

The Nollywood actress and producer had some time in December of 2019, confirmed that she is expecting her fourth child with husband, Prince Okojie, where she told her over 7million Instagram followers that she initially thought she has retired from the ‘baby-making business’ after three kids, but cannot explain the joy and peace she is feeling expecting their unborn child. She had captioned a photo of her husband and herself with these words:
“I thought I had retired from the baby-making business.
So a while back, we found out we had a baby on the way.
I can’t explain the joy and peace expecting our new baby has brought, or the cravings for food that have followed. I get so emotional easily, in fact right now I’ve started crying from joy again” she had said.
“We’re having a baby I’ve always wanted 4 kids…. always. However, after 3 kids” she said.
She continued her caption, saying:
“I’m sharing this with you my family for life, hanging on since day 1, growing with my family and I and always showing all the love. I love you all right back. Baby Okojie 2020 getting ready God bless you all!!” she added.
