The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Tuesday 7th April 2020, at about 9:30 pm, announced that sixteen new cases of the Coronavirus have been confirmed in some states across the country. This latest development brings the total figure of confirmed cases in the country to 254.
According to NCDC, the sixteen new cases were ten confirmed cases in Lagos; two cases were recorded in the FCT, two in Oyo, one in Delta and one in Katsina.
This brings the total number of recorded cases in Nigeria to 254, and a total number of discharged persons 44, with 6 deaths recorded.
