Nicki Minaj has hit hard at some fans and bloggers calling out her husband, Kenneth Petty. This comes a day after it was reported that he allegedly pushed a singer Iwer George when he got too close to her at the Trinidad and Tobago Carnival.
Nicki Minaj who initially defended her husband for his actions, publicly apologized for her husband’s actions. But her latest post about the incident and continued bashing of her husband by fans and the media, seems to have changed her mind on her earlier apology.
The retired rapper, taking to her Instagram page on Thursday, posted a photo of her man and herself from the Trinidad and Tobago Carnival declaring her support for her man. Spotting a rhinestone-encrusted turquoise ensemble complete with angel wings she was photographed blowing a kiss face to a camera while cuddling up to her husband. She captioned the photo with:
“Rappers would kill for this attention chile. Lol at night when we go to bed I say ‘babe u was all over the blogs today.’ He be like ‘oh word?’ 😂🤣.” Continuing, the rapper added, “he rlly don’t have social media to see y’all write think pieces about him chile. ‼️♥️♥️♥️ AND AH LIKE IT LIKE IT LIKE THISSSSSSS. JUS LIKE THIS ‼️‼️‼️‼️”
Before this latest post, she had posted on her social media talking about the push by her husband, and the dragging from fans, saying:
“Oh gawd. Allyuh like shit eh? I go cuz all yuh real fkn stink yuh know?” the rapper responded to one comment. “He don’t understand anything about our culture. I apologize on his behalf. He’s always in security mode. All love. Love my country to death. Love my ppl to death. Period … I should’ve told him it’s a very comfortable family atmosphere. He’s never been to a carnival in his life. Not even in Brooklyn babe,” she had said.
Even with all these, fans are still not happy she is with Kenneth, all due to his past crimes, while others feel Nicki Minaj is accommodating him due to her brother, Jelani Maraj who was sentenced to 25-years to life in prison for child rape.
