The Executive Governor of Taraba state, Arc. Darius Dickson Ishaku has officially flagged-off the issuance of employment letters to those employed by the Taraba state civil service commission.

Gov Darius Ishaku who was ably represented by his the Deputy Governor of Taraba State, Engr. Haruna Manu deemed the employment exercise as not only timely but imperative given his magnanimity to direct for the recruitment of over 300 young officers into the civil service to fill in the existing vacancies in some selected MDAs that require attention for effective service delivery to the state.

In attendance were the Honorable commissioner of Taraba state Civil Service Commission, Hon. John Mamman; the Head of Civil Service, Mrs Suzana J.M; Members of the Taraba state House of Assembly, Honorable Commissioners, Permanent Secretaries and other top government officials.
The program took place today at the Jolly Nyame Stadium Hall.

This also comes a few days after Gov Ishaku on Monday 17th February 2020, promised to initiate a housing scheme for new civil servants to be employed in the state.

Gov Darius Ishaku in a statement released by By Joachim Dangana said the Governor who was speaking during the inaugural meeting of the Saint Paul Old Boys Association SPOBA Wusasa Zaria, held at the Ladi Kwali Hall, Sheraton Hotel Abuja said the Housing scheme would enable the new Civil Servants to own personal house before fifteen years of their enlistment.

He attributed lack of housing and effective planning from most retirees as reasons for their failing health emphasizing that the younger ones need to be guided.

Governor Ishaku condemned the spat of corruption eating deep into the fabric of the Nation and assert his resolve to put a mechanism in place that would frustrate corruption in all facets of development.

The Governor expressed happiness for the reunion of the set of sixty-eight of the Saint Paul Secondary School Zaria after fifty-two years and advised them to take care of their health and maintain a healthy diet.

He said the culture and norms of the School were what shaping their lives to be better citizens today.
