A new report has emerged as to the cause of death of Chuy Bravo, as the late actor was said to have died from a heart attack.
The representatives of Chuy Bravo who was a former Chelsea Handler‘s longtime TV sidekick and hypeman said he died from a heart attack after a brief hospitalization, TMZ reports.
The late actor’s death was reported on Sunday after he suffered a minor stomach issue. But the new report suggests that he actually suffered a fatal heart attack. He was rushed to a Mexico City hospital and then to the emergency room, where he later died on Sunday morning.
TMZ reports that Chuy Bravo went to the emergency room with a Gastrointestinal Hemorrhage (GI Bleed) and after complications, he suffered the fatal heart attack.
Chuy’s family announced his death Sunday afternoon, and Chelsea wrote a heartfelt tribute to her longtime collaborator.
Chuy’s funeral services took place Monday in Mexico, according to his rep, and his body will be cremated. His family is devastated and his remains will be transported back to Los Angeles for a memorial service, but a date has not yet been scheduled, the report added.
