U.S President, Donald Trump says he enjoyed his meeting with British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson at 10 Downing Street last night, where they discussed the NATO Alliance and trade deal.
Although President Trump did not say much in his tweets about his private meeting with Boris, he has without a doubt since he landed London on Monday with his wife, had an eventful outing so far.
He traveled to the United Kingdom to join some world leaders for the 70th anniversary of the Nato alliance in London, and his trip to London just like his first, was welcomed with huge protest and some little drama with other NATO leaders who were caught on tape gossiping about him.
The U.S President as usual, deflated all that with a tweet on Wednesday, where he took to his official twitter handle to appreciate Boris Johnson for his hospitality during their meeting.
“Talked about numerous subjects including @NATO and Trade.”
A Number 10 spokesman confirmed the meeting earlier and said: “The leaders welcomed the recent increases in defence spending by NATO member states and agreed on the need for the Alliance to be unified in the face of new and evolving threats.
“The Prime Minister also updated the President on this afternoon’s meeting between France, Germany, Turkey and the UK to discuss the situation in Syria.”
