After a few days of been crowned the undisputed middleweight Champion after knocking out Robert Whittaker at the Marvel Stadium, in Melbourne, Israel Adesanya treats himself to a brand new Lamborghini as a thank you gift for himself.

Israel Adesanya who hardly shows off his leisurely cars, as if he does not have any, on Monday debuted a brand new Lamborghini to celebrate his win on Saturday. He captioned the photo on his Instagram page with:

“Overcompensating 😂
Meet #Kurama …the chakra this beast possesses is waaay too much for most to handle.
I am the #jinchuriki that has been cursed to have him sealed within me. I’m not lucky, I’m blessed 🔥
#naruto #ninetails #hokage”

Popularly known as Izzy or “Stylebender” took down Robert Whittaker in the second round and got in a couple more shots before the referee stepped in to call the fight off in front of a UFC-record attendance of 57,000.
It was the stadium where the Nigerian-New Zealander Adesanya had sat high up in the stands watching Holly Holm’s seismic KO of Ronda Rousey at UFC 193 in November 2015 – and where he had vowed to return but inside the Octagon.

Israel after the fight against Robert Whittaker had this to say about his dream in 2015: “I’m really petty, I remember everything like an elephant. I was in the nosebleeds, and now I made his nose bleed,” said the undefeated Adesanya, who moved to 18-0 overall and 7-0 in the UFC, where he only made his debut in 2018

The Nigerian-New Zealander speaking about his fight on Saturday said:
No one is doing anything like I’m doing, this is a 60,000-seater arena,” Adesanya said. “People after seeing that entrance … I bet the green-eyed monsters were like, ‘I f****** hope this guy loses’. I’m sure some of you in here as well were saying, ‘This a******, I hope he gets flatlined.

“It’s ingrained in us, this tall poppy syndrome. It’s this jealousy that when someone is shining, we feel it takes away from our own shine. Look, I can’t dim my shine just because some people feel uncomfortable.

Everything went full circle tonight – I danced with some of my day ones, my day negative fives, some people I’ve known from way back,” he added at the post-event press conference. “To have them set the tone for me, and just have fun … When I’m having fun, I’m the best in the world.

Adesanya’s entrance was in stark contrast to Whittaker’s, who made an impassioned march straight down to the Octagon.
“When I saw him walk out, he was too intense,” Adesanya said. “You can put your hoodie over your eyes and [beat your chest] all you want. It’s pheromones, I could smell it off him. He’s not with it. He was doing the right moves but there was no feeling behind them.
“So I saw everything coming. I got hit a few times. I don’t like getting hit, not because I’m a b**** or I’m not tough, I am. But it’s not smart.”
