NTA Eulogises Ganduje, To Establish Network Centre In Kano Soon

The Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), the largest Africa’s television network had commended the achievements recorded by the administration of Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state, over the years. Starting from his first tenure in office, from 2015 to 2019 and in his second coming to power.

According to the statement released by Abba Anwar who is the Chief Press Secretary to the Kano State Governor on Monday 23rd September 2019, the Director-General of NTA Yakubu Ibn Mohammed after listing some infrastructural developments achieved in Ganduje administrations, eulogises government’s continued intervention in saving the education sector, among other sectors.

Mohammed made the disclosure when he paid a courtesy call to the governor, at Governor’s Lodge, Asokoro, Abuja, Sunday, adding that:

“Your Excellency, you are really trying very hard to reposition your state. This is exemplary leadership.”

By way of further encouraging the state towards sustainable development in all sectors of the society, the Director-General reveals to the governor that, “all preparations are now on top gear to open a Network Centre in Kano.” With the establishment of Network Centre, stories from Kano, that are meant for Network, would go directly to the headquarters without any stopover anywhere. Such stories would just go to Network News, without any hindrance or operational delays.

This, according to him, would open windows wider for the unbeatable audience to have more understanding of the developmental work taking place in the state.

Adding that, “Our ‘You Can’t Beat the Reach’ slogan will take your unrivalled achievements to greater, higher and next level for all to view, understand and allow others to copy from you, Sir.” He disclosed that NTA is viewed everywhere in the world. “As we are on GOtv Startimes and others, we are viewed in Europe and other parts of the world,” he reminded.

The Director-General assured that they are co-builders of the nation, insisting that, “Nigeria is for all of us. Hence we need to stand up and continue building our great nation. The Giant of Africa.”
